We offer plowing, snow blowing, shoveling to clear parking lots, driveways, sidewalks & entrances to homes & offices. It is critically important that all our managed properties are safe for any & all pedestrians.
Furthermore, we understand that there are a wide variety of needs for each individual customer. Green Landscaping works diligently to ensure properties are cleared & maintained at pre-determined agreed upon times. Some clients will need each & every storm cleared, where as some others may live in a less trafficked area & don’t require attention during smaller storms.
Ice-melting materials are a key component to our services. We offer a wide range of options, depending on what best suits the customer & situation.
1) The calcium or potassium pellets are more expensive but., don't eat away at your driveway and cement/stone walkways anywhere near as fast. Also, it is healthier for environment.
2) Some clients choose Rock Salt because it is almost half the price & often provides better traction during heavier ice & sleet storms
3) Third option is using Traction Sand -- which won't eat away at walks or driveways, but does NOT work well during freezing rain & sleet storms (gets covered up quickly) -- it works great after storm is done, but risk of ice is still present. Then we can sweep or blow it off walks after storm has passed - sand can also have small harmful penalties against nature when it flows in large quantities into rivers & other water systems
